Leadership Bell County is committed to building a strong civic culture through the development of leadership, involvement, and cooperation throughout Bell County.
Leadership Bell County is designed to enhance the future of the region by identifying individuals who have demonstrated a commitment to this county and a potential for leadership; acquainting participants with issues of leadership and of community structure and operation; providing opportunity for interaction between present and future leaders; and promoting involvement in community issues and organizations.
Objectives:
Strengthen basic leadership skills
Develop a strong civic commitment to positively impact county issues by increased participation/action.
Increase knowledge of issues to build on the cultural strengths of the county and surrounding areas.

Anyone, regardless of age, race, gender, ethnic origin or disability who either resides or works in Bell County is invited to apply for participation. Applicants are asked to document their leadership qualities through their activities at work, church, civic club, school or other community organizations by completing an application form. The participants selected for the program will represent a cross section of the county and will come from a variety of backgrounds. Class participants will be selected by a confidential screening committee. The class will be limited to twenty (20) individuals. Applicants not selected for this year’s class are encouraged to re-apply for next year.
